Teeming with passion and emotions, the drama "Kunda Jeenay" (The story of a virgin widow) is a woman oriented story, touching woman related issues as well as tension between the rich and the poor in a masterly manner.

Caught in a vicious circle of the society, an educated girl, wishing not to compromise her honor and dignity, fails to secure a respectable position in a male dominated society.

Strongly impelled to lead a very pious life and avoid evils, the girl has a growingly acute realisation, in the practical business of life that a woman, orphan too, is incomplete without the support of man.

The death of her mother adds to the complication which leaves her alone to the scourge of life. The plot poses a question: No body lives there in the wide world to come to the help and rescue of a helpless girl who is blessed with the beauty, body & brain.

A visit into a hospital brings a change in her life; compelled by the miseries of life, Mushk guises herself under the name, Parry.

However, real Mushk in known by its fragrance and not by any label.

Now she is confronted by the etiquettes and manners of the rich society. But every difficulty adds to the strength of her determination, if a diver is scared by the jaws of a crocodile, one fails to have pearls.

Besides, she has to face Khaqan's greedy aunt with her daughter Afereen and son Afaaq whose god is weath but they fail to win the love of any body. Pearl remains a pearl ever if in mud and a piece of dirt remains dirt even if blown to the Sky.

Jalwa-a business women - who enjoys the wealth, name & fame, but his heart tells a different tale.

Hashir is the type of a villain who is ready to do any amount of misdoes but fails in the eternal battle of good and evil. Man is molded from mud and without being humble, he is not a man.

There is an elderly. God worshiping man too, who keeps eye on all the characters from rulers, including the Nazim of the Area, down to the neighborhood.

Gripping narrative, arresting dialogged, a well-knit plot, experienced cast and technical excellence make the drama a living reality.

Gul has Master Degree in Journalism & Communications and Pushto literature. He has books on credit and having wast experience of Journalism (English, Urdu & Pushto), enjoying good relations with the intelligence and opinion makers, Being a career journalist, he has very good nose for news, taste for poetry & well to meet the deadline, Command over language is his assets.
